Alumna Jensen-Kocken played for Hall of Fame-bound team

The All-American Red Heads, a Harlem Globetrotter-esque women’s pro basketball team, will be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Monday — and a UW-Green Bay alumna is a former member of the squad. April Jensen-Kocken played here from 1979-82 before a brief stint with the Red Heads after graduation, the Press-Gazette reported Wednesday (April 4). She’s modest about the accolade — the Red Heads is the first women’s team to be so honored — but said it’s a good team recognition nonetheless. Full story.
