Longtime UW-Green Bay friend, Carol Bush, honored with ‘Dreamers and Doers’
A well-known friend of the University received yet another well-earned acknowledgement for her work in the greater Green Bay area this weekend, when she was honored with the 2013 Dreamers and Doers Award from the local branch of the American Association for University Women. Carol Bush accepted the honor during a luncheon Saturday (March 16) at Heritage Hill State Park in Allouez. She was selected for her work with “numerous social, civic, educational and cultural improvements in Northeast Wisconsin over the better half of a century,” award organizers said. That work, of course, includes her steadfast support of and advocacy for UW-Green Bay, including the Founders Association, Weidner Center and Phoenix Fund. Carol and her husband, Bob Bush, are Phoenix Hall of Fame inductees and received the Chancellor’s Award in 2002. Congratulations on a most well deserved honor! Read more.
