Phoenix Studios Releases New ‘Bird in the Wings’ Podcast

The UW-Green Bay Phoenix Studios podcast network launched Bird in the Wings, an audio show that covers hot topics in arts and culture and includes interviews with artists and the community that loves them. The podcast host is the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts Executive and Artistic Director Kelli Strickland.

In the first episode, released Thursday (March 07, 2018), Strickland interviews special guest jazz vocalist, Janet Planet. Recorded in conjunction with Jazz Fest 2018, they discuss the life of a self-produced, self-promoted artist and small business owner in Northeast Wisconsin.
