University of Auckland professor talks race, identity during time at UW-Green Bay
UW-Green Bay and Prof. Regan A. R. Gurung recently welcomed a visiting scholar from the University of Auckland, New Zealand, for a two-week stay. And while Melinda Webber on Sunday left the chill of Green Bay for warmer climes (it’s summer in NZ), her relationship with Gurung and the University will continue. The pair are collaborating on research and possible future publications looking at issues of race and identity. Webber spoke about those issues in a variety of settings during a busy two weeks on campus, sharing her unique perspective with students, faculty, classes and University programs. You can read more about her time here — and what’s next — in our news post.
