Celebrate 2025: Winning Her Way event at The Weidner on Thursday, February 27, 2025.

More than 450 attendees at the Celebrate 2025 event, hosted by The Schreiber Institute for Women’s Leadership, on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at The Weidner on the UW-Green Bay campus, enjoyed an afternoon of connection, learning and inspiration. This year’s theme, ‘Winning Her Way,’  celebrated the distinctive qualities of female leadership, blending insights from athletic and business perspectives for women (and men!) in Northeast Wisconsin.

Alicia Pelton shared her experiences as a woman in sports and leadership along with her three “Cs” of leadership for change—compassion, choices and compassion—during her keynote. Learn about the three Cs. Abbey Sutherland, Head Women’s Volleyball Coach, UW-Green Bay, gave attendees an inside look at the culture of her team, and spoke about how they use leadership language in their gym. Support the team by attending a game. View upcoming matches. The Institute continued its tradition of celebrating the arts’ beauty and impact on leadership. NEWDO dancers showcased women supporting each other, likening them to flowers—each planting a seed that grows into the next, inspired by those who came before.

Keep the excitement going and join us at any of our monthly events to learn, connect and celebrate each other. We’d love to see you at an upcoming Caffeinated Conversation or Stories from Experience. View photos from the event, below!
