UW-Green Bay launches new University podcast network, Phoenix Studios
We’ve long known that UW-Green Bay is home to some of the nation’s most accomplished and fascinating faculty members. Now, through the launch of a new podcast network, Phoenix Studios, we’re blazing a new trail to share their insights and expertise to all corners of the state and beyond. As a communications channel, listenership in podcasts continues to slowly and steadily grow across the U.S. Pew Research Center shows that 50 percent of the U.S. population has listened to at least one podcast in 2016. A team of UW-Green Bay students, staff and faculty have been working since last Fall to launch the new network, featuring podcasts produced by the University community. The current lineup includes three podcasts (shows) with the intent to grow:
All the Rage
All the Rage is a podcast from UW-Green Bay Professors Ryan Martin (Psychology) and Chuck Rybak (Humanistic Studies). From road rage to internet trolls, All the Rage covers all topics related to anger and violence. If you want to be a guest, or just have a question or an idea for an episode, call or text (920) 328-5167 or email Ryan Martin at martinr@uwgb.edu.
Psychology & Stuff
Psychology and Stuff is the podcast for the UW-Green Bay Psychology program and includes interviews with faculty, students and alumni from the program on a wide range of topics (work, research, personal lives and other stuff).
PhlashCast
PhalshCast from Phoenix Studios, follows the Green Bay athletics program and includes big news and an inside look behind the scenes of an athletics department through interviews with students-athletes, coaches, and Phoenix Staff.
All three Phoenix Studios podcasts can be found on Apple iTunes Store, Google Play Store and SoundCloud.
