Coming up: SAFE Ally Training

Did you know that SAFE Ally training is one of the many opportunities that count towards the Inclusivity and Equity Certificate provided by Inclusive Excellence? SAFE Ally level 1 training is provided by a student volunteer from UWGB’s Pride Center, and focuses on how we can assist LGBTQ+ students and faculty to feel welcome on campus. Level 2 focuses on becoming acquainted with websites that provide information about LGBTQ+ for individuals who want to keep apprised of LGBTQ+ topics and resources. A few seats remain in the next classes on Monday, Feb. 22. Level 1 is from 10 am to noon, and Level 2 is from 12:30 to 2 p.m.. To RSVP contact Stacie Christian at christis@uwgb.edu.
