Way to go ECO U! Keeping holiday lights out of the landfill

Thanks to members of the Green Bay Campus community, the UW-Green Bay Parade Committee collected more than seven bins of holiday lights that would’ve ended up in the landfill. The lights were turned over to Greater Green Bay’s Habitat for Humanity’s Restore, with a new location on Allouez Ave., Green Bay, where volunteers recycle the lights. The light collection was an annual service project led by the Parade Committee.
