Florentine Opera director pays a visit to campus

UW-Green Bay students enjoyed a visit from guest speaker Bill Florescu, general director of Milwaukee’s Florentine Opera Company, Tuesday afternoon in the Jean Weidner Theatre on campus. Florescu has held his current position with the Florentine Opera Company since May 2005, and has overseen the expansion of the company’s repertoire, along with producing or directing a wide variety of mainstage and education operas.
