Video: Shortest Phoenix has longest range

Eric Valentin, a 5-4 junior walk-on, is one of the shortest players in NCAA Division I men’s basketball, and likely in the history of UW-Green Bay’s 42 seasons of play. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t have game – he does – and it doesn’t mean he lacks length on his shooting range. Valentin put on a tremendous display of half-court shooting for the Inside Phoenix Basketball cameras the other day. Somebody had noticed that the “official record” for half-court heaves made in a minute was seven, and reckoned Valentin could top that. He did. See the video.
