Green Bay women prepare for four straight at home
Closing out its first road trip of 2017, the Green Bay women’s basketball team (13-2, 4-0) relied on a strong second half to win its fifth-straight game and defeat UIC, 79-65 at the UIC Pavilion on Saturday afternoon. Mehryn Kraker scored 26 points in the victory and moved into a tie for 10th place on Green Bay’s all-time scoring list (with Kayla Tetschlag). The Phoenix enjoys four straight games within the friendly confines of the Kress Center, opening the home stand by welcoming Detroit Mercy on Wednesday, Jan. 11 at 7 p.m.
