UW-Green Bay holds 108th commencement ceremony | WLUK
GREEN BAY (WLUK) — It was graduation day for the two Universities of Wisconsin schools in our area on Saturday.
Between two ceremonies, UW-Green Bay had 485 students celebrate commencement. They were both held at the Weidner Center.
Washington Post writer Laura Meckler was the keynote speaker for the morning ceremony.
In the afternoon, it was Schreiber Foods President and CEO Ron Dunford. He advised the graduates to use their time wisely.
“As you step into the professional world, invest time to define what truly matters to you,” said Dunford. “Prioritize endeavors that will align with your passions, values, and long-term goals. It’s not about doing everything, it’s about doing the right things for you.”
UW-Green Bay has produced more than 50,000 graduates over its 53 year history.
