In the news: ‘Canine counselors’ help students de-stress during finals week
Finals week has gone to the dogs! About a dozen therapy dogs from the Packerland Kennel Club helped students de-stress during the first day of exams Thursday (Dec. 14), hanging out for a couple of hours on the fourth floor of the Cofrin Library. Students packed the area to spend time with the canine counselors, who offered plenty of stress-busting affection — and seemed to enjoy getting a little love in return. It was the second year for the popular program, which drew some attention from a couple local news outlets. Click here for a fun report from Fox 11 reporter (and UW-Green Bay alum) Ben Krumholz.
