Manley Named to Banking 40 Under 40 List | Community | ehextra.com
MARINETTE — Alyssa R. Manley, Mortgage Underwriter at The Stephenson National Bank & Trust, was recently named to the 40 Under 40 List as created by Independent Community Bankers of America. She is among a talented group of emerging community bank leaders from across the nation, highlighted for their achievements as the future of community banking.
The 40 Under 40 List, now in its fifth year, celebrates community bank leaders who are making a difference in their banks and communities through trailblazing innovations, a philanthropic spirit, and a dedication to their industry.
The recognition highlights how the 40 Under 40 honorees have dealt with tumultuous market conditions, leveraging their local expertise and sound business practices to improve the customer experience and create greater economic resilience within their communities. Candidates were judged on character, leadership, community involvement, and innovation.
She was nominated for the profound impact she has had within the lending department at SNBT. As stated in the article published by Independent Banker, “Manley offers an innovative approach to mortgage underwriting at [SNBT]. Not only has she helped implement a mortgage system, cutting the underwriting time frame from half a day down to an hour, she also looks for solutions in situations where the client may be denied a loan.”
Manley joined SNBT in 2017 as a Universal Banker in the Crivitz office. A year later, she began a new position as retail loan coordinator. In the last few years, she has made it her mission to streamline processes and implement automations to create more efficiencies for the loan department.
“I am astonished that I made the nationwide list and am over the moon that my work is being recognized,” said Manley. “My goal, along with others in the loan department, is to make the home-buying process as easy as possible.”
Manley is currently working toward her Bachelor of Finance and Economics degree from UW-Green Bay and serves on the Wisconsin Bankers Association mortgage lending committee. Her volunteer activity includes Wolverine Sport Boosters Club secretary, House of Dreams: Clubhouse board member, Crivitz Area Women’s Club member, and she assists with giving financial literacy presentations for area schools on behalf of SNBT.
“Our team is proud of the role she has taken to modernize the retail lending process, provide a better customer experience and create efficiencies,” said Justin Wroblewski, SNBT senior vice president — business banking and retail loan manager.
