‘Paint the Library Red, White & Blue’ returns and more upcoming Manitowoc library events | Herald Times Reporter

MANITOWOC – It’s almost time to “Paint the Library Red, White & Blue.”

The annual event returns to the Manitowoc Public Library, 707 Quay St., from 2 to 3 p.m. July 2 in preparation for downtown Manitowoc’s Fourth of July activities, including the Fourth of July parade.

Paint and supplies will be provided by the library. Registration is not required, but space is limited and windows will be available on a first come, first served basis.

Those interested in participating should line up by the library’s Franklin Street garage door to get paint and brushes.

Not able to paint July 2 but still want to participate? Pick up poster board to decorate red, white and blue. Posters returned by July 1 will be displayed in the main floor windows.

If it rains July 2, the event will be canceled.
