Media coverage as UW-Green Bay hosts summit on teen drinking
Local media gave considerable coverage to a Friday summit, co-sponsored by UW-Green Bay and held on campus, dedicated to curbing underage drinking in our communities. Brown County United Way’s ninth Community Summit, titled “Youth Alcohol Use and Abuse” brought together students, parents, educators and law enforcement officials to talk about the prevalence of underage drinking and how it can be addressed. The event, cosponsored by the Partners in Education Drug Alliance, Bay Area Community Council and UW-Green Bay, was held from 9-11 a.m. in the Phoenix Room on campus.
