More camp coverage: Weeklong Camp Lloyd on WFRV


UW-Green Bay’s Camp Lloyd continues to receive media attention this week, most recently thanks to coverage from WFRV, Channel 5. Reporter Heather Sawaski tagged along with campers during a Wednesday (June 19) field trip to Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary, reporting on the weeklong day camp and its mission to help grieving kids. Sawaski spoke with a camper, a Camp Lloyd “buddy” (trained student intern) and grief therapist and UW-Green Bay Assistant Prof. Gail Trimberger, who explained the program and the benefits for kids.
