Schreiber Foods establishes endowment for UW-Green Bay’s Institute for Women’s Leadership | WLUK

GREEN BAY (WLUK) — UW-Green Bay’s Institute for Women’s Leadership has a new name, thanks to an endowment established by Schreiber Foods.

The now Schreiber Foods Institute for Women’s Leadership is looking to continue to support and connect with Northeast Wisconsin women leaders.

“The world needs more women leaders,” said Schreiber President/CEO Ron Dunford.

The institute may only be in its second year, but it plans to make a big impact.

“This is really about the institute for women leadership and it becoming the Midwest’s premier institute for women’s leaders,” said Janet Bonkowski, the institute’s executive director. “There’s no reason why it won’t and it can’t and it’s on that journey and, so, it’s about having that institute in our own backyard to really help the advancement of women.”

UWGB and Schreiber did not reveal the exact amount donated, instead calling it a “significant” gift.
