Former cheerleader appears on ‘Today,’ continuing anti-bullying campaign

Former UW-Green Bay cheerleader Kaitlyn Collins continues to share her anti-cyberbullying message with the nation, appearing Monday (Feb. 11) on NBC’s Today show to talk about her sudden fame. It was just one week ago that someone uploaded a photo of Collins cheering at a Packers game to a Chicago Bears Facebook fan site, precipitating a lot of nasty comments — but more still of support. Collins posted a video to YouTube, calling out the commenters and speaking out against online bullying — as of Monday night, her video had 900,000 views. As we told you here last week, Collins has been interviewed by local news stations as her story has spread. Check out Monday’s Today show segment.
