“Before Elena Talingo started middle school, she sat down at the dining table with a notebook to plan out what sixth and seventh grades would look like. At age 11, she was already taking higher-level classes, and she knew her end goal: a career in business. “I’ve always known I have to have a plan so I can make things happen,” Talingo said. “Because things don’t happen just because.” That planning has paid off. On Dec. 13, Talingo graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay with her bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, just six months after her graduation from Preble High School. She’ll soon head to a full-time job in the aerospace field.”
