Associate Prof. Eric J. Morgan Publication
Eric J. Morgan, associate professor of Democracy and Justice Studies and History, recently published an updated chapter in the 2022 edition of The SHAFR Guide: An Annotated Bibliography of U.S. Foreign Relations since 1600, edited by Alan McPherson and published by Brill. The SHAFR Guide, a near comprehensive, 2.1 million-word annotated bibliography of historical work covering the entire span of U.S. foreign relations, was first released in 2017. It aims to jump-start the research of both students from high school to graduate school as well as the most advanced scholars. Morgan’s contribution, “The United States, the Middle East, and Africa between the World Wars,” surveys recent literature and historiographical developments on U.S. relations with the Middle East and Africa from 1919 to 1939.
