Prof. Forsythe, student earn mention in Sun-Times story on fisheries research

An outdoors writer for the Chicago Sun-Times traveled to Green Bay earlier this year to document research on northern pike spawning and survival in the lower bay. The fisheries project is a joint venture involving UW-Green Bay with the Shedd Aquarium. Assistant Prof. Patrick Forsythe and grad student Rachel Van Dam are mentioned in the story. One of the focal points of the study is whether the bay’s northerns pull off more consistent hatches in streams or in the west shore’s many ditches where water levels and temps are more prone to fluctuation.
