Kraft offers take for story on candidate Hulsey, his tactics

Gubernatorial candidate Brett Hulsey was in Green Bay Tuesday (May 6), bringing local media attention to his unconventional campaign tactics. WLUK, Fox 11 was among the news outlets covering Hulsey’s visit and the larger issue of his candidacy, and turned to Prof. Emeritus Michael Kraft for a bit of perspective. Reporter Andrew LaCombe asked whether Hulsey can make a strong run for the Democratic nomination. “Hulsey looks like he’s focusing on stunts and odd press releases,” said Kraft. “So far, it’s not to say he won’t become a candidate, so far it looks like he’s not a serious candidate.” Full story.
