Free brass and clarinet concert Dec. 6 has varied program
Profs. Adam Gaines and Eric Hansen direct when the UW-Green Bay music program hosts an evening of student brass and clarinet ensembles at 7:30 p.m. next Monday (Dec. 6). The free event will take place in Fort Howard Hall of the Weidner Center.
The Phoenix Brass will begin the concert with “Fanfare” from La Peri by Paul Dukas and Sonata “Sancti Polycarpi” by Heinrich Ignaz Franz von Biber, followed by other works. A clarinet ensemble will offer selections ranging from Mozart’s “Larghetto and Allegro” and Haydn’s “Allegro” to “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen. Read the full news release.
