Listen to first-hand drag experiences at Our Voices: A Journey Through Drag
The UW-Green Bay Archives Department invites you to their upcoming event, Our Voices: A Journey Through Drag. This free program will feature a multi-generational panel of local drag performers. Sharing their stories will be Elsie Bovine, Miss Mona, Wilma Tootsie Pop, Ellah Maeaux, and Andi Withani Domino. The queens will discuss their experiences performing, choosing a name, creating their outfits, and developing their act.
Attend to hear the experiences and views of different generations of drag queens. This exciting and unique local history program will be held at The Tarlton Theatre on Thursday, May 18th. Doors open at 6:30 pm with the event starting at 7:00 pm. The event is part of the week-long celebration, Brown County History Days. For more details see the event page.
