Phi Kappa Phi Community Service Project for Happily Ever After Sanctuary

The UW-Green Bay chapter of Phi Kappa Phi is running a community service project from December 2020-April 2021 to benefit Happily Ever After No Kill Animal Sanctuary. HEA was founded in 2006 by Amanda Reitz, who was a student at UWGB at the time. She started the shelter and sanctuary after learning that 50 percent of cats and dogs who ended up at conventional shelters eventually lost their lives. HEA is different. Any animal that goes into HEA is either adopted out to a loving home or spends the rest of his or her life living at the HEA sanctuary in Marion, Wisconsin. This mission is admirable, and Phi Kappa Phi has partnered with HEA to help support the continued operation of this amazing shelter. HEA would greatly appreciate monetary donations or an item from the following list:

Dogs Cats Purina Puppy Chow

Natural Blue Buffalo Grain Free Cat Food

Salmon The Loops 2 Leashes Friskies Pate (canned food)

The Almost Indestructible Ball Purina Kitten Chow Kong

JW Pet, and Tuffy brand toys

Purina Cat Show – Original General Care Bath towels

Blankets, and sheets (new or used)

Absorbent paper towels

Heavy-duty contractor bags

Clorox regular bleach

These items can be dropped off in person at the HEA sanctuary in Marion, the HEA adoption center in Green Bay, or at locations on the UW-Green Bay campus. Marked bins are placed at the following locations on campus: GBOSS, GAC Lab, Mail Room, and TH 335/PKP Office. If you are more comfortable donating from the comfort of your home, please click the “donate an item link” at the bottom of the page to view HEA’s Amazon wish lists and have the item sent directly to an HEA location. Be sure to let them know you donated as part of the PKP community service project!
