Kwanzaa Celebration on Saturday, Dec. 9 at the University Union

UW-Green Bay is hosting an annual Kwanzaa Celebration from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9 in the Phoenix Room of the University Union. Kwanzaa is an African-American celebration based on the tradition of the African harvest festival emphasizing community and cultural pride. Enjoy music, dancing and food and learn about the holiday’s origins, rites and symbols. This is a public and free event with light lunch and refreshments provided while supplies last.
