Chamber’s young professional group has fundraiser next week (Nov. 6)
The Greater Green Bay Chamber’s Young Professional Advisory Council (YPAC), a committee of Current – Young Professionals, is hosting its sixth Greater Green Bay S.O.U.P. on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Green Bay Distillery. Greater Green Bay S.O.U.P. is a creative, collaborative and fun approach towards crowdfunding local urban projects to add unique touches or meaningful programming to our community. After the five community-based projects give brief presentations, participants will enjoy a bowl of soup and cast their ballots for their favorite project. The project with the most votes will receive the night’s proceeds. Each S.O.U.P. event has had more than 100 people attending, raising more than $1,000. Public is invited. $5 admission at the door. Show your support of local community projects that make the Greater Green Bay area an exceptional place to live. Projects to be presented:
-Laundry Love – Green Bay
-The Green Bay Shoe Closet
