Kristyn Pearson to begin new role of Assistant Dean of Students for Manitowoc & Sheboygan Locations

Kristyn (Kristi) Pearson has been appointed to the newly created Assistant Dean of Students position serving our Manitowoc & Sheboygan campuses. Through this role, Pearson will maintain shared responsibility for services provided by the Dean of Students, Student Engagement, and Student Services offices. Of note, she will provide on-site guidance to students who are having personal, academic, behavioral, medical, or other personal difficulties.

Pearson holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership & Policy (Specialization: Student Affairs Administration). She joins us from South Dakota State University, where she has been serving as the Coordinator for Community Standards. Through her work there, she has served as a student conduct officer, participated in crisis intervention, and provided AOD education to students. Her many transferrable skills will provide a strong foundation for this multi-faceted and student-facing position.

Pearson will work as a member of the Dean of Students Office and will begin her position on Monday, Nov. 1, 2021.
