Room change, date clarification for Sept. 27 suicide-prevention session


Training as a “QPR Gatekeeper” will be available to interested faculty, staff and students from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, in the Union’s Phoenix Room C. (Please note the room change, and the clarification that the training is TUESDAY, and not Wednesday.) One hour of time might help you save a life. The acronym Q-P-R? People trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to Question, Persuade, and Refer someone to help. All are welcome.
