Ideas solicited for 2011-12 ‘Common Theme’ topic

Already broadcast campuswide but repeated here for the record: Scott Furlong, dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, is soliciting suggestion for next year’s (2011-12) Common Theme topic. The call-for-proposals process is a bit different this year in that he’s first asking for short pre-proposals that will be initially reviewed by the Common Theme Committee.  These are due to Furlong by Oct. 8. It will be the fourth year for a Common Theme at UW-Green Bay: This academic year, events and activities are organized around the issue of leadership; previous years examined questions related to sustainability, and war and peace.
