Workshop explores ‘New and Lesser Known Tools in D2L’

There’s a high-value workshop scheduled for 2 to 4 p.m. Friday (Sept. 2) in GAC Lab A. (That’s the General Access Computing Lab in the Instructional Services Building.) “New and Lesser-Known Tools in D2L” will be the topic for instructional technology staff members Leif Nelson, Heather Pokorsky and Jennifer Hendryx as they provide an overview of new and sometimes under-used features in D2L. Some tools that will be discussed are:

• ePortfolio
• Audio recording
• Role switch

• Checklist
• Glossary
• Calendar
• Discussion assessment
• Online rooms
