Local Festival Foods director receives award
Festival Foods has long been a close partner of UW-Green Bay and Green Bay athletics. The Wisconsin Grocers Association (WGA) has recognized Rick Teegarden, store director at Skogen’s Festival Foods’ Green Bay North store for his outstanding contributions to his community.
Much of Rick Teegarden’s career has been focused on helping those in need, not only in his store, but in the Green Bay community. Regularly volunteering with his wife and the Festival Foods team, a few of his many past and present commitments include Paul’s Pantry; the New Community Shelter bag lunch program; Baird Creek Preservation Foundation spring cleanup; Golden House domestic abuse shelter cleaning and organizing; Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary spring cleanup; and NEW Zoo spring cleanup. With a store near UW-Green Bay, Teegarden started “college night” for incoming students.
