Announcing: Inclusive Excellence Summer Workshops
Inclusive Excellence is offering two summer workshops to assist employees to be ready to earn their Level 1 Inclusivity and Equity Certificate, which will be presented at the fall convocation. Two mandatory workshops for this certificate are being offered on Wednesday, June 1.
Workshop 1 – 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
The morning session focuses on what inclusive excellence is, and highlights the understanding of the difference between hate crimes and bias incidents.
Workshop 2 – 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 1
The afternoon session defines the difference between tolerance and acceptance, and discusses cultural humility.
