Financial aid worker Kepler is Student Employee of the Year
Congratulations are in order for senior Communication major Mysty Kepler, the 2013 UW-Green Bay Student Employee of the Year. Kepler, a Student Financial Aid Specialist, received her award Monday (April 15) during a special ceremony that kicks off Student Employee Appreciation Week here on campus. Nominator Karen Sevick tells us Kepler assists with maintaining accurate financial aid and student employment records, and that she’s a great decision-maker who has the ability to take on new projects and develop new methods to perform certain tasks within her role. Described as “an all-around professional,” Kepler was praised for finding ways to make complicated data easier to process and understand. Kepler was one of 14 outstanding student employees nominated for this year’s award. Runners-up for the accolade are Environmental Science and Policy graduate student Jacob Eggert (EMBI) and junior Nursing student Stephanie Kessler (Cofrin Library). Congrats to all the nominees, and thanks to all the great student employees we have here on campus! Read more.
