The Fight for Your Food Film Festival

Student Melissa Kiela from SLO Food Alliance shares the following: It’s already begun! SLO’s 3rd annual Fight for your Food Film Festival. It’s every Monday in April at 7 p.m. in Rose Hall 250.

April 2: Food Fight / April 9: Truck Farm / April 16: Ingredients / April 23: Food Matters

Films focus on a variety of topics including criticism of Western food systems, urban farming and introducing local foods to urban students, and advocates who say food can be both healthful and tasty. Kiela says organizers will provide free organic popcorn and lemonade at each film.
