The names and backgrounds of the three finalists for the position of Assistant Chancellor for University Advancement have been made public. Each candidate will visit campus for a day of meetings and interviews that will include an open forum and Q&A opportunity. Each of those 45-minute open sessions will take place at 1:15 p.m. in the 1965 Room of the University Union.
The dates and candidates:
• Thursday, March 27 — Jeanne Stangel, interim assistant chancellor for university advancement, UW-Green Bay
• Monday, March 31 — Matthew Rentmeester, vice president of development and public relations, Bellin College
• Tuesday, April 1 — Christina Zitka, fundraising consultant, Appleton
At UW-Green Bay, the Assistant Chancellor is a member of the institution’s executive team and oversees the University’s fundraising, alumni, marketing and communication functions. Chancellor Thomas Harden is seeking to make a permanent appointment to the position currently held on an interim basis by Jeanne Stangel, who stepped in following the departure of Beverly Carmichael last July.
