UW-Green Bay’s BSW and MSW Programs reaccredited

A determination has been made on the accreditation of Social Work programs after an intensive self-study process by Social Work faculty, a site visit by the Council of Social Work Education (CSWE) in September 2022, and review of all materials by the Commission on Accreditation.

Chancellor Michael Alexander and Joan Groessl, Chair of Social Work, recently received word that the Commission on Accreditation has reaffirmed accreditation of both the master’s and bachelor’s social work programs for eight years, ending in February 2031. Continued accreditation of these valuable programs signals to the public that both programs meet or exceed criteria for the assessment of program quality evaluated through CSWE’s peer review process. Congratulations!
