Tony Bennett ’92 Humanistic Studies, is ACC’s top coach

In a conference with coaches including Mike Krzyzewski, Roy Williams, Jim Boeheim and Rick Pitino, it’s quite an honor to be named ACC Coach of the Year. That’s what 1992 UW-Green Bay Humanistic Studies graduate Tony Bennett did this week. It was his second consecutive honor for the former national coach of the year at Washington State. It is the third career conference coach of the year honor for Bennett (two ACC, one Pac-10), who directed the Virginia Cavaliers to their second consecutive outright ACC regular season title in 2014-15.
