UW-Green Bay gains student chapter of public relations society

UW-Green Bay has been granted a chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America. Student Ashley Vickney is president of UW-Green Bay’s PRSSA chapter, which currently has about two dozen members. Faculty adviser Danielle Bina of Communication has overseen the transition of the chapter. Club members are working on an awareness campaign for a local nonprofit known as CHIP (Community Health Improvement Plan), a partnership among individuals, families and organizations dedicated to improving the health of the Brown County and De Pere communities.
