Chief Information Officer posting is now public
The posting is now available and being advertised for UW-Green Bay’s new Chief Information Officer (CIO). The firm Witt Kieffer is assisting:
“University of Wisconsin-Green Bay seeks a dynamic, distinguished executive to serve as its next Associate Vice Chancellor & Chief Information Officer (CIO). This is an exceptional opportunity to make a significant impact by leading the future direction of the information technology (IT) enterprise at University of Wisconsin’s fastest growing school in the region.
The CIO will report to the Chief Business Officer (CBO) and Senior Vice Chancellor for Institutional Strategy and will sit on the Chancellor’s Cabinet. As a visionary leader, the CIO must develop a strategic plan that will clearly guide the future direction of IT and significantly improve technological capabilities of the University to help promote learning and support university administration while maintaining alignment with UW system IT. Enrollment is at an all-time high and the CIO will need to evaluate the educational technologies and distance learning applications to ensure they are meeting the needs of the students and administration. An additional focus for the University has been on data analytics. The CIO will be instrumental in developing an integrated data analytics program that will assist UW-Green Bay in utilizing data and reporting in a transparent, clear, and cohesive form to leverage resources and technology at the University.”
