Move of media equipment to library extends service hours
If you are looking to check out a laptop, LCD projector, digital camera, camcorder, or other media equipment, as of Monday (Jan. 23) you will be able to do so at the Cofrin Library. In order to provide more service hours, the media equipment collection has been moved from Media Services to the Cofrin Library. The collection will now be available for check-out to faculty, staff and students an additional 40 hours per week. This change will also allow Media Services staff more time to provide their expertise on classroom support. Media Services will still handle delivery of equipment to classrooms, such as computer and TV carts.
And iPads, too — “We are pleased to announce that iPads will also be part of the equipment collection,” the Cofrin Library reports.
