Close-ups: Summer sounds sweet at Middle School Music Camp
The UW-Green Bay campus was filled with the sights and sounds of budding musicians July 17-22 during the annual Middle School Music Camp. About 200 students entering grades 6 through 9 took part in the weeklong camp, which featured instruction — and plenty of fun — in band, choir and orchestra. Campers’ hard work paid off at week’s end, when they got the chance to showcase their talents in a Friday concert at the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts.
