Close-ups: Fun at L-L-L-L-Lambeau
What was not to like? This is the consensus of the success of the first UW-Green Bay Day at Lambeau Field, Saturday, November 15. The kids went crazy for the Bungee Run the Tundra Jump, and friendly competition against Green Bay student-athletes; former Packers great Bill Schroeder signed more than 400 autographs; UWGB Academic Units were able to share their special projects and research, alumni were honored in a Walk of Champions, the Weidner, the Alumni Association, Shorewood Golf Course and others had a chance to talk with the public about their distinct features; there was live music, a spirit event, an official-sized dorm room, International Students showing the public how to write their names in a foreign language, and so much more. The event was an extension of the partnership between UW-Green Bay’s Division of Outreach and Adult Access on behalf of the University, and the Green Bay Packers.
