More kudos for ‘Q’: Theatre festival honors for UW-Green Bay production
Additional congratulations are in order for everyone who had a role in UW-Green Bay’s fall production of Avenue Q, The Musical, which has earned a prestigious national recognition from the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. UW-Green Bay staged the edgy Avenue Q at an ACTF regional competition in January, and on Monday (March 17) it was announced the play has earned an award for “Distinguished Achievement in the Production of a Musical or Music Theatre.” As we told you here before, Avenue Q was a huge hit at the festival, earning a standing ovation along with the Golden Handtruck award for excellence in technical execution of the production.
