In the news: Coverage of engineering tech funding announcement
Wisconsin Public Radio and WLUK, Fox 11 News covered news Monday (Nov. 4) that a collaborative engineering technology degree program has received nearly $1.9 million in grant funding to help it get started. As we told you here yesterday, the funds will help jump-start a trio of new and collaborative engineering technology degrees, which were approved by the UW System Board of Regents in July. Students in the program will be able to begin their academic studies at any one of 13 Northeastern Wisconsin Educational Resource Alliance (NEW ERA) universities and colleges, and finish the program either here at UW-Green Bay or just down the road at UW-Oshkosh.
