Kraft offers take on Biden’s Green Bay visit

While the bulk of the nation’s political attention is focused on the RNC in Tampa, President Obama and his team continue to campaign — including a planned stop Sunday (Sept. 2) in Green Bay. Prof. Emeritus Michael Kraft offered some perspective on Vice President Joe Biden’s upcoming visit in Wednesday’s (Aug. 29) Green Bay Press-Gazette. Coming to Green Bay is important for the Democratic ticket, Kraft said, especially because Obama and GOP challenger Mitt Romney are in a statistical dead heat in Wisconsin. Our area went for Obama in 2008, so voters here still may be persuaded to vote for the president in November, Kraft said. Full story.
