Area retirees are encouraged to take a look at the fall semester offerings for Learning in Retirement, a program of our own Division of Outreach and Adult Access. Openings remain in many of the 136 LIR courses that are offered for fall semester, with the first classes beginning, Tuesday, Sept. 4, and others following throughout the semester. Classes are taught here on campus and throughout the community, offering enrichment and learning in such areas as art and music; business and finance; health and fitness; history and religion; language and culture; literature and writing; science and technology; and special topics.
