Video-streaming of the Regents

We can’t guarantee it won’t be interrupted by breaking-news coverage of Brett Favre’s motorcade leaving Minnesota Vikings practice, or some such, but we can tell you that the UW System Board of Regents will once again stream live video and audio coverage of its all-important monthly meetings in Madison. This month, the topic is the 2011-13 budget request, so it actually is pretty important. Tentative times are today (Thursday, Aug. 19) with afternoon committee meetings scheduled to start at 12:15, and Friday’s big session is 10 a.m. to noon. Click here.
