Textbook rentals a hot topic

An article in the Green Bay-Press Gazette earlier this week highlighted new textbook rental programs in the area, including the new pilot program at UW-Green Bay. Patrick Sorelle, manager of the Phoenix Bookstore, says the University is offering seven titles for rent in a variety of subjects, mostly in larger freshman courses. St. Norbert is also starting a rental program this fall. Northeast Wisconsin Technical College is planning to start a rental program in January.
